College of Pharmacy at King Abdulaziz University

Out of interest and the comprehensive renaissance witnessed by the Kingdom in various fields, especially the fields of health and education, to improve the health and treatment services provided to the citizen, Royal Decree No. 89 was issued on 2/6/1422 AH to establish the College of Pharmacy with its various departments to be within the system of the prestigious King Abdulaziz University, and the college The second for pharmacy in the Kingdom, and the first to offer the Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) program. The advanced study program of the College of Pharmacy is unique and distinguished in the Arab region, as it was developed by the latest international methods in pharmaceutical education, where the college graduate receives a degree. Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD). This graduate is distinguished by his theoretical and practical studies and experience by his ability to play an effective role within the therapeutic medical team. This distinguished role of the college graduate will be reflected in providing better health care and service, reducing drug misuse, as well as reducing the cost of medical treatment. The college graduate is also qualified to practice the profession of pharmacy in all its forms and in all its other fields, such as working in public and private hospital pharmacies, as well as the fields of drug manufacturing and development, and scientific and academic research centers interested in pharmaceutical sciences.
