Cultural Committee



Introduction

It aims at raising the cultural level of the students and enhancing their cultural, literary and artistic skills, besides making the best use of their energy and encouraging their creativity.

Vision

The main aim of the cultural committee is to make the Faculty of Pharmacy one of the most outstanding colleges in King Abdulaziz University which introduce students and graduates with distinctive cultural and scientific levels through enhancing their skills and developing their knowledge, in addition to keeping them connected to their university, society and country.

Mission

Serious contribution in developing an innovative workforce exemplified by Pharmacy students and graduates through developing and improving their cultural and scientific knowledge via organizing scientific workshops, publishing of brochures and organizing cultural and artistic contests.

Objectives

  • Organizing cultural activities in the faculty in view of the faculty activities schedule.
  • Organizing and setting rules of general cultural contests.
  • To develop students on the academic, practical, cultural and social level.
  • To strengthen ties between students and faculty.
  • Organizing art exhibitions of students' artistic works.
  • To invest in students' leisure in beneficial programs.
  • To discover and maintain students' talents and skills
  • Activities

    Organizing cultural activities in the faculty in view of the faculty activities schedule as follows:

    1. Active and continuous participation in the meetings of the Deanship of Student Affairs.
    2. Organizing and setting rules of general cultural contests.
    3. Organizing scientific lectures and workshops.
    4. Organizing the "Star of the Faculty" competition.
    5. Publishing of the "Pharmascope" periodical.
    6. Participation in University's scientific and cultural contests with distinctive students (Star of the University and Knights of the University contests).
