Dean's Message
Welcome to the Faculty of Pharmacy, King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. The Faculty is one of the top institutes of pharmaceutical education and research in Saudi Arabia. Our Faculty is a pioneer in pharmaceutical education. Its curriculum is prepared and designed to graduate qualified efficient pharmacists to occupy various posts in the health sector relating to treatment and medication. The pharmacist plays an important role in the twenty first century, monitoring patients' treatment programs and providing consultation on use of medications. In the Faculty of Pharmacy, King Abdulaziz University, there are professional and distinguished faculty members and leading researchers in drug–related sciences. The mission of our faculty is to provide the highest level of pharmaceutical teaching for students. We aim for our students to familiarize themselves with, and keep pace with, the fast developing pharmacy profession in the Kingdom and to empower them to take an active role in improving the health condition of Saudi society through research conducted in the different fields of pharmacy. Commensurate with the Mission of King Abdulaziz University, the Faculty of Pharmacy aims to provide scientific experiences and medical skills through the following
- Maintaining high standards of quality.
- Obtaining local and international accreditation for all the educational programs of the Faculty.
- Fulfilling the local needs of clinical pharmacists.
- Developing activities and scientific programs that contribute to the progress of the Kingdom.
- Providing programs of Continuing Education in Pharmacy.
- Practicing Islamic ethics and morals in keeping with our Islamic identity.
