Prof. Basma Ghazi Eid

It is an honor for me to assume the position of Vice-Dean at the Faculty of Pharmacy at King Abdulaziz University and to work among a distinguished constellation of academics, technicians and administrators who always seek to make advancements in the great profession of pharmacy.
The Faculty of Pharmacy at King Abdulaziz University is a pioneer in pharmaceutical education and training, as it provided the first clinical pharmacy program (Doctor of Pharmacy) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East when it was established in 2001. We seek at the Faculty of Pharmacy at King Abdulaziz University to utilize all modern educational methods to ensure that all our students have the necessary skills and capabilities that help them keep pace with the requirements of the labor market in line with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030. The faculty’s achievements continued as it achieved remarkable distinction in the field of scientific research and extra-curricular activities, due to the presence of distinguished students and faculty members as well as highly qualified administrative staff. We take great pride in our students and faculty members who have won many local and international awards in addition to having a large number of patents. The Faculty of Pharmacy at King Abdulaziz University is one of the most prominent faculties in the region that always seeks to serve the community, as it provides research, advisory, and awareness services to all sectors of society. I hope that the Faculty of Pharmacy will continue its honorable path, and we always look forward to achieving the best to serve our students.
