About the program

The program equips graduates with advanced research skills and research expertise with the aim of meeting the Kingdom's natural products needs in pharmacy. The program also prepares students for excellence in academic, industrial and health roles, and supports national progress by developing highly qualified cadres for the pharmaceutical sector in Saudi Arabia.

Student Admission Requirements
Required Specialization Pharmacy graduates of the Faculty of Pharmacy only
Grade Requirement Good high
Entrance Exam nothing
General Capabilities Test for University Graduates Applicants must also complete a General Capabilities Test for University Graduates, with a minimum score required for eligibility.
English Language Proficiency Proficiency in English is required, with a minimum score of 4 on the IELTS exam or an equivalent score on other approved tests such as TOEFL or STEP.
Acceptance Criterion Admission decisions are based on a weighted evaluation criteria:
• GPA (50%)
• General Capabilities Test for University Graduates (40%)
• The proximity of the applicant’s specialization in the bachelor’s degree to the program’s specialization is (10%) evaluated by the scientific department.
